Custom Ward Inspired by Star Guardian Seraphine- Concept to 3D (Work In Progress)

For this project, I really wanted to design a custom ward for League of Legends, which is one of my favorite games recently. It was hard choosing a skin and champion to design a ward for since I have a rotation of mage and support characters I like to play. But in the end, I settled for Star Guardian Seraphine since it's one of my favorite skins in my inventory. I wanted to challenge myself to take this from concept to 3D. It's still a work in progress, but I plan to keep refining the textures for the ward, making a lower poly version, and bringing it into engine, but this is what I have so far!

I selected a few elements I really want to convey in the design and did some sketches and silhouette tests for the over-all shape.

I decided to go forward with this design, so I rendered and colored it quickly before hitting the ground running.
